The effective implementation of the Association Agreement remains the main priority of the Government of Georgia, - Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated during his speech at the event dedicated to Georgia on the sidelines of the 54th Munich Security Conference.

“In March of 2017, citizens of Georgia were granted the right of visa-free travel to the Schengen Area. This historic moment has brought Georgia closer to Europe. Visa-free travel promotes professional exchange between businessmen, scientists, students and artists.
This means that Georgians have the opportunity to arrive in Europe and to see the achievements and well-being of Europe, respect for the rule of law and the friendly environment – i.e. the world to which Georgia is striving for, "- said the Prime Minister.
