Multinational Noble Partner training 2018 has launched

The multinational Noble Partner training 2018 commenced on the 1st of August. Noble Partner training 2018 is a military exercise involving Georgian Armed Forces and U.S. Army Europe in co-operative training. Under the message - “Power in Partnership”, the exercises serve to raise the readiness and interoperability between international armed forces. The training aims to improve skills for defence and attack operations.
The training exercise scheme was first launched in 2015 and was originally intended to train Georgian soldiers to enhance
their interoperability with NATO units.

It is the fourth time that Georgia has hosting the Noble Partner training. It was officially launched this year at Vaziani Airbase. The trainings will last until the 15th of August. More than 3000 military servicemen from 13 countries are taking part in the training. The participant countries are Georgia, USA, Estonia, Great Britain, Germany, France, Lithuania, Poland, Norway, Turkey, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Armenia.

General of the US National Guard Bureau Joseph Lingel, Randell Simmons (Head of the Georgia State National Guard )and General John Gronsky arrived in Georgia for this special occasion.
President Giorgi Margvelashvili, Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze, Chairman of the Georgian Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze, Defence Minister Levan Izoria , Head of the Joint Staff Vladimer Chachibaia and students of prestigious Georgian universities attended the opening ceremony.
