Dedication to Inga Garuchava

Dedication to Inga Garuchava
Inga cannot die! Human beings like Inga Garuchava should not be dying. We need them at all times and places. We are all in very serious want of those who have lived and done as did the poet Inga Garuchava.Factually speaking, Inga passed away, having rendered the earth with her death a duller and darker place - she was a beam of light and a flash of delight. The image of her indelibly left in our thoughts challenges us to
be less earthly and more celestial.
I personally need Inga to be managing my inner world, nursing my soul and polishing my spirituality. Inga the poet teaches us how to elevate ourselves to heights of divine reciprocation with the universe; Inga the playwright helps us to get better versed in the vicissitudes of our life; Inga the director of the theatre of our existence gives us a chance to capture the unique insight of her mirror of the real or surreal.
Without Inga Garuchava’s witty intellectualism, the world would have been much poorer and paler. Her life-size presence was and is a builder of faith, hope and love, all fashioned into one undivided whole.
Inga’s lifetime friend, co-writer, companion and spouse Peter Khotyanovski will not believe that she is no longer around. He will never admit that their creative work may have the slightest chance to again be sufficiently fruitful and ripe without scratching paper or tapping the keyboard together with his beloved Inga.
Petia is the epitome of a gentleman, representing the old intellectual school like a real knight of letters and words. He is after all the scion of Irina Petrova and Andrei Khotyanovski – two geniuses, each in their own way. Inga & Petia and Petia & Inga – not otherwise!
How can two humans be so wise and yet childish in their power and purity? It is so warm and cozy in the shadow of this divine couple … and so cold when you get out of it. Friends and relatives and all of us want Inga back, and hoping to God that she might revisit us, we are now clinging to Petia, while persistently looking for Inga, sitting in her same place in their lovely kitchen, full of warm wise-cracking and breathtaking exchanges of thought.
Some of us are simply meditating about the minutes spent with Inga Garuchava, some are just using an oral word, and some prefer to say it in writing. A friend came up with his poetic dedication to her:

To Poet from Poet

We’ve been walking same road for as
long as life allowed,
All those buildings are demolished,
our lives still abound.

Who said all will fade away and encounters be forgotten,
Night darkens daylight, bliss and gladness disappear,
Don Quixotes have not lingered, Don Quixotes are away,
Planet whirls with higher speed and people tend to separate.

Death is following us as shadow, death is
nimble, death is quick,
And it wants to cover traces of
our kindness and good deeds . . .
But this is all far from the truth, nights go and days are in,
Humans partner up again, people fall in love indeed.
You are walking next to me, in togetherness we meet,
Unreal though it all would seem,
we still bonding, you and me,
I would play with a verse, and your council I would seek,
You tell me what to do – I believe and trust you thee.

Earthly life is morphing into bodiless existence of ours,
The return in other image might happen after all,
I believe and hope truly Ingeborg is coming back,
Inga, darling of my soul, our friendship – still on track!

P.S.
Life on earth is not eternal,
God will handle for you it all . . .
