Urine protest in Tbilisi - what supporters of cannabis decriminalization demand
10 June, 2014
Yet another protest demanding decriminalization of cannabis has occurred in front of Georgia’s Chancellery. This time the protesters brought cups full of urine and laid them on the ground in the shape of a heart, demanding from the government to stop apprehending people for smoking cannabis.
According one of the protest’s organizers, Toresa Mossy, the government should liberalize its drug policy, because cannabis users aren’t criminals. He also protested yesterday’s apprehension of 16 young people by the police at Sairme Street.
