“I will finance my students” - Georgian lecturer wins jackpot

The 17th winner of Georgian National Lottery’s jackpot Tinatin Giorgobiani is a professor at the Tbilisi State University (TSU) and she won GEL 1 380 345 (USD 523 867). She plans to use a part of the money to finance some of his students.

“I have three Master’s Degree Students at the university, but they don’t have enough money to continue studying. I think I will finance them first of all,” she says.

As for other plans, Giorgobiani, who is a
linguist by profession, says she plans to spend another part of the prize in her scientific researches.
