First snow has fallen in Svaneti, Georgia
The first snow has come in Svaneti, highland region in northwest Georgia. According to Neli Naveriani, deputy governor of Mestia Municipality, the snow is visible in skiing resort of Tetnuldi, which is located 3,000 meters above sea level.
According to her, snowfall in the mountains started unusually early this year due to bad weather.

"The mountain slopes covered in white are very well visible from the lowlands. The first snow came in early October", - the deputy governor said.
