Grand wine festival to be held on Chardin Street on October 15
21 September, 2017

By the initiative of Allwine.ge and Maidan Group, the Georgian wine producers will organize a grand festival

on October 15, called "Georgian Wine Festival" and it will be held at Chardin Square from 12:00 to 19:00, where small, medium and large winemakers will present their wines and compete for the title of the best.

The festival will be full of various activities. Close to 40 types of wine will be tasted and exhibition-sale is also planned. The unique brews of cheese,

the best Churchkhela and dried fruits, the Georgian bread, the variety of music - it's only a small amount of the products you will be able to see at the festival and you should not miss the opportunity to participate.

"In cooperation with Allwine.ge, this year, we will be hosting the first Georgian Wine Festival, which aims to increase the popularity of Georgian wine in both tourists and local population. In the frames of the Festival, we want to give chance to the well-known companies as well as to the small wine cellars. We are confident that the Festival will be well met by the participants, as well as the guests, and will get a greater popularity every year", - Maidan Group representatives say.

"AlLWINE.GE always cares about the promotion of wine and development of small cellars. It was with this aim that a wine media portal and our tasting corners were created. We want to play a major role in the development of wine in Georgia. We believe that such festivals will promote Georgian wine culture.

In the framework of this festival, we are starting a big project for popularization of Georgian wine. "10 wines that you have to taste while you are alive!" is a project that will make Georgian wines more accessible, not just in Georgia but in many countries of the world. The festival will feature up to 40 Georgian producers who will present 1 white and 1 red wine each. Based on blind tasting, 80 people will vote. On the next stage the online voting will be held. Finally, 10 of the best wines will be named by the best sommeliers. The names of those in jury will be known later", - the director of allwine.ge Lasha Sharikadze explains.

"Georgian Wine Festival" is the best way to get acquainted with Georgian wine and taste rare wines from small cellars. This is not to be missed!
