12 December, 2017
Tbilisi City Hall has declared that it is interested in purchasing new eco-friendly buses for Georgia’s capital Tbilisi. As IPN has been informed by Tbilisi Transport Company new director Mamuka Kobakhidze, up to 200 buses are planned to be purchased at the initial stage.

As reported by the Transport Company director, small buses are in need and a tender will be announced in the beginning of the year.

As he has added, the full volume of the vehicles is planned
to be replaced in 3-4 years.

‘We also consider adding certain bus routes. Tbilisi City Hall is currently working on an ordered project that envisages passengers’ monitoring. The number of the passengers as well as directions is being counted,’ Kobakhidze has remarked.
