Tbilisi City Hall starts compulsory registration of taxis

Tbilisi City Hall will start compulsory registration of taxis, Mayor Kakha Kaladze said at the municipal government meeting. According to Kaladze, the population of Tbilisi and the guests of the capital deserve a quality, safe and comfortable service.

"Another novelty in the development of a very important transport system is to improve the quality of taxi service and gradually establish certain standards.

Tbilisi residents and guests of the capital deserve a quality, safe and comfortable service, so we will contribute
to the gradual improvement of this service. We are now working on creating legal basis for the municipality to issue a taxi service.

We will do our best to establish an efficient and modern transport system.

Tbilisi will definitely be healthy, free from traffic jams and a city full of life" - Kaladze said.
