Swearing and harassment in public places to be fined by GEL 500 - 1000

Minor hooliganism will be fined by GEL 500-1000 instead of GEL 100. Relevant changes have been made made to the Code of Administrative Offenses.
According to the changes initiated by Georgian government, swearing and abuse in public places and insulting harassment or other similar actions that violate public order and citizens' peace will be fined from GEL 500 to 1,000, and if, based on the circumstances these measures are considered unsuitable – a citizen will be put in administrative detention
for 15 days.

The bill has already been initiated in Georgia’s Parliament.
