Ski lift in Gudauri goes out of control

The ski lift in Gudauri winter resort in Georgia has broke down in the aftermath of which several people have been injured. As it is known, 10 people have been injured in a rope way crash in Gudauri resort. As it has been reported by the Ministry of Health, all of the injured were provided with medical assistance.
Three crews of emergency medical care and rescuers are working on the site. The
injured were taken to Gudauri hospital.
Two of the injured have been transferred to Tbilisi. The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development has left for Gudauri to study the situation on the ground.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the case.

According to the Georgia's Minister of Health, Labor, and Social Affairs, Davit Sergeenko, in total 8 people were taken to Gudauri hospital. 7 of them remain in place, one has already been discharged from the hospital.

"Fortunately, there is no casualties and serious injuries, there are two foreign patients  - one Ukrainian and one Swiss. There is a well equipped emergency clinic in Gudauri and they are fully stabilizing these patients", said Davit Sergeenko.
