“We must
pay salaries to our employees, we have monthly expenses, and we have to pay the rent as well.If the club does not resume working soon we will face financial problems. We met the Interior Minister and he told us that he had not thought about it before, but he will start thinking about this issue,” Tato Getia stated after the meeting with Interior Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia held at Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“Our opinions differ. The Ministry of Internal Affairs thinks that they had enough reasons to conduct the special operation in night clubs, while we think on the contrary.

In my opinion, there were other ways and solutions to avoid such development of events. I think that the Ministry of Internal Affairs should have conducted the investigative activities less demonstratively. I am not the lawyer and I do not speak in legal language. I speak simply, as the citizen and in my opinion; it was possible to conduct the special operation in a more humane way.

As a reminder, police raided Georgia's most popular night clubs Bassiani and Cafe Gallery on May 12. The above-mentioned clubs are sealed after the special operations. As the representatives of Ministry of Internal Affairs say, the reason behind the special operation was to detain drug dealers who supposed to be at the venues.
