According to the initiative, marriage registration will take place in accordance with the
revised uniform standard. One of the Georgian designers Maka Japaridze created a number of drafts for a registrar uniform. From now on, in every wedding hall or even during the outdoor weddings, registrars will be wearing the uniforms by the standard. In the near future, couples will be able to book the date and venue for marriage registration online through the following website: www.sda.gov.ge.

In May 2018, the Ministry of Justice provided a new service for the couples. Married couples are given the Georgian medieval epic poem The Knight In The Panther’s Skin by Shota Rustaveli as a symbol of love, loyalty, and equality. The book is decorated with the illustrations of the Georgian painter Sergo Kobuladze. The service was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Independence of Georgia on the 26th of May. It was an old Georgian tradition to give the poem as dowry to the daughter. The book was considered to be an invaluable gift for a new family.
