Demna Gvasalia, a Georgian designer is among 50 super-duper incredibly important people selected by the British magazine about fashion GQ. The Georgia designer, creative director of Balenciaga and head designer of Vetements Demna Gvasalia was given the fifth place on the list.

The magazine wrote that Demna brought his strain to fashion redefining the concept of “cool”. Before Demna being cool meant to “artifice”:

“His notions of cool are complex, intelligent and fearlessly original.” – reads the article.

The “fearlessly original”
designer is next to Rihanna, Naomi Campbell, Kanye West, etc. on the incredibly important people’s list.

Gvasalia’s collections always attract the attention of people engaged in fashion all over the world. Each of his shows is extraordinary in their own ways. His latest collection at Paris Fashion Week was showcased at the Grand Gallery of Evolution. The hall of the gallery is full of the replicas of taxidermy zebras, giraffes, rhinos, gazelles, and monkeys. The idea apparently came to Gvasalia when he was eating pizza and watching Night at the Museum with friends.
