Underground waste containers to be installed in Tbilisi

Kakha Kaladze, Mayor of Tbilisi, has announced that conventional waste containers are planned to be replaced by underground ones. It is a pilot project launched by the city hall. The first underground waste containers will be installed on Chavchavadze Avenue and ultimately will cover the whole city.

According to the Mayor, the rehabilitation of Chavchavadze Avenue is scheduled to be launched in the near future. Kaladze emphasized the importance of the rehabilitation of the area, especially the heavily damaged underground communication
