GEL 700 000 bail ordered for Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze

GEL 700 000 bail was ordered for TBC Bank founders Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze on July 26. In addition, they were forbidden to leave Georgia without informing and getting permission from the investigative agency.

The Prosecutor General's Office filed charges against the founders of TBC Bank - Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze on July 24. According to the agency, Khazaradze and Japaridze are accused of legalizing illegal money - 16 754 000 US dollars.

has appealed against the judgment delivered by the Tbilisi City Court on July 26.

According to lawyer Zviad Kordzadze, the judgment was handed over to them late and it is unsubstantiated.

"The judgment is unsubstantiated. Our arguments have not been responded at all. Therefore we ask the Court of Appeal to cancel this judgment and not to use the measure of restraint," said Zviad Kordzadze.
