16-year-old boy, Luka Popkhadze, whose health condition worsened due to reanimobile ambulance vehicle technical problems, has died. He was in a coma for 41 days. According to his aunt, Pati Gogoglashvili, his health condition was heavy and he went through recovery procedures in Kutaisi clinic.

Luka Popkhadze was transferred from Racha to Kutaisi on the 19th of July. His family members say that the boy had health problems after returning from the sea, where he apparently caught unspecified, unknown decease. His
health condition in Racha worsened so he was transferred from Racha to Kutaisi via reanimobile ambulance vehicle.

On their way to Kutaisi, the vehicle’s equipment was damaged that affected negatively on the boy’s health. Eventually, they had to call for another reanimobile that arrived three hours later.
