Village in Bolnisi Municipality to be Set Under Quarantine

Based on the decision made by the Interagency Coordinating Council, due to the high epidemiological risk, strict quarantine restrictions have been enacted in the village of Geta, Bolnisi Municipality, as part of the state of emergency.
Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with the representatives of the Defense Forces, will control the restrictions 24 hours a day.

"The quarantine conditions restrict the free movement of citizens. Control checkpoints are arranged at the entrance and exit of the village.
The police will explain the quarantine restrictions to the local population and will help as much as possible if necessary. Everyone on the territory of Georgia is obliged to comply with the requirements of the Georgian legislation in the field of public health"-the statement reads.
