Georgian wrestler becomes European champion in sambo: Watch her celebration dance

Georgian team won three medals at the Sambo Championship, which was held in the capital of Belarus, Minsk on May 19. Georgians have claimed gold, silver and bronze medals.

Nino Odzelashvili (72kg) won gold, which means she retained the European championship she won last year. Paata Gviniashvili (90) won silver and Levan Berberashvili (52) claimed bronze medal.

Nino has defeated Russian Irina Alekseeva in the decisive match and then traditionally marked the success with Georgian dance.

We remind you that
Nino is the first Georgian woman among all kinds of wrestling who became the European adult champion.

The competitions in various weight categories will be held on May 20 and 21.
