Three Georgian sportsmen claim gold at World Judo Masters

Beka Gviniashvili, Varlam Liparteliani and Guram Tushishvili – these are the Georgian judokas who won gold medals at the Saint Petersburg Judo Masters competition.

Gviniashvili defeated Dongan Gwak from North Korea (Ippon) and Guram Tushishvili defeated the Brazilian Davoid Moura (Ippon). As for Varlam Liparteliani, he won the final match by points.

Another Georgian judoka, Zebeda Rekhviashvili was
defeated by a Brazilian judoka Eduardo Santos in the first round.

According to the Saint Petersburg Masters final results, Georgian judokas won 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.
