 Bacho Akhalaia remanded into custody, Giorgi Kalandadze and Zurab Shamatava released on bail

Bacho Akhalaia has been remanded into custody, while Giorgi Kalandadze and Zurab Shamatava were released on 20,000 GEL bail.
Tbilisi City Court Judge Giorgi Goginashvili did not satisfy the mediation of Akhalaia’s lawyer regarding 31 MPs posting bail for his client.
Bacho Akhalaia’s interests were defended at the trial by three lawyers.
The next trial will be held on 25 December.
