11 September, 2013
Twelve years on from 9/11, two memorials with names of the victims stand on the site of the terrorist act, while only one tree survived the tragedy on the ground.
A special museum has been dedicated to items like the single remaining boarding ticket of the fateful flights, wreckage of the aircraft involved in the incident and photographs tied to the tragedy.
The Washington Newseum also holds special place for the memory of victims of 9/11.
