Most people's encounter with a little lamb on Easter Sunday will be on a plate alongside the peas, new potatoes and mint sauce.
But when David Cameron came across this newborn member of the flock on a farm in his Witney constituency, he decided to get make friends with it. Taking a break from kissing babies on the campaign trail, the Prime Minister snuggled up to the lamb, even planting a smacker on its nose, the Telegraph reports.

Mr Cameron
was visiting Dean Lane farm, in Chadlington, Oxfordshire, where he mucked in giving bottles to orphaned lambs.

Earlier, he and his wife Samantha attended church. In his Easter message, Mr Cameron said that Britain is still a Christian country, the Telegraph informs.
